Global warming and internet privacy.  These issues pale in comparison to the challenges that recruiters in the structural engineering profession have to deal with, answering questions badly.  If not successful, this person will walk away with lots of ridicule everywhere he or she goes.  One by one, everyone will know who we know is the Weakest Link!  As we said to the Victoria’s Secret saleswoman, we will try to keep this brief!

 

Let’s meet today’s Weakest Link, folks!  It is Whitney Phipps of ISAT.  For the folks out there who don’t know what ISAT is, ISAT is a design-build manufacturer of seismic anchorage for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.  After reading this post, you will think of them as I-SHIT because they are dirty and they suck.


 

 

Folks, have we got the ultimate dumb recruiter story for you! It is about a math problem that can be solved by preschoolers.  It involves ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs!  Before we start making fun of this person, let’s post her Linkedin profile so she doesn’t try to erase it in the future.








 

Now, let’s begin our story of the ISAT recruiting experience under ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs.

 ISAT posted an ad for structural engineers.  And the Candidate received a message from ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs, scheduling a phone interview with Structural Engineering Manager Deep Shah.

That phone interview went very well for the Candidate.  The Structural Stupidists were present when the phone interview was conducted.  ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs decided to schedule the in-person interview in Fremont, CA.  This was very close to the Candidate’s home, so commuting would not be a problem.

 

Folks, this was a very interesting interview.  It was so bad Bill Martinelli the Branch Manager complained that the Candidate looked good on paper but failed to elaborate on anything else.  Can you imagine what it would be like for him to do customer service on your project when he cannot figure out how to communicate with the very people he interviewed with?  We say it is pretty bad.

Scheduling an interview in a physical place during a pandemic is a very bad idea.  But if you are ISAT, you make the Candidate take a lickin’ because you want to keep on stinkin’!  Maybe they were using this idea so they could make their staff take sick days off due to COVID-19!  Who knows!

The Candidate was told by ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs that (s)he would hear back after a couple of weeks.  Guess what, folks? This never happened at all.  So the Candidate decided to follow up with Whitney Phipps because it is obvious she has no clue how a calendar works.


 

Folks, this begs the question:  Why did ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs subject this Candidate to an interview for a non-existent Structural Engineer job?  Why does ISAT endanger Candidates during a pandemic?  Yes, folks, the Candidate was very concerned since (s)he may come into contact with people who may have compromised immune systems or people with medical conditions that could make COVID-19 much worse or even deadly for them.

The Candidate also asked whether (s)he would need to interview for the Seattle position especially since the Candidate had an in-person interview with the Fremont, CA, office.

Of course, ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs did everything she could to show the Candidate a negative experience throughout the ISAT interview process.

Of course, there is frustration.  ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs broke her word with the Candidate by telling him/her she would get back to him/her within two weeks – and she failed to do so.  Whitney Phipps wasted that person’s precious time.  Whitney Phipps is stupid because she endangered her co-workers.  Also, Whitney Phipps admits she is not really into hiring engineers for her firm.  According to her message, her children are more important the company’s backlog which she is employed.  This begs the question whether Whitney Phipps takes her career as a recruiter at ISAT very seriously.  Here is the short answer:  she doesn’t!

The Candidate has a very valid question for ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs.  Would she like it if someone did that to her?  The reason the Candidate had to ask that questions makes people wonder whether she has emotional intelligence – which we would say is a big fat no!

Folks, there is a reason the Candidate thought the position was not legitimate.  The Candidate went through two interviews and was told ISAT had an excess amount of work.  Then ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs and the ISAT staff jerked that Candidate’s chain. 

Yes, folks, we have evidence that ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs is not really good at math.  According to her, the Fremont, CA, position was cancelled and there are still 3 structural engineering positions available.  Folks, how does ISAT perform engineering when they cannot figure out the ability to count numbers on the fingers of one hand?  Yes, folks, Whitney Phipps’s answers should be labeled as spam!  She sucks at math she thinks multiplying can be done by dividing.

ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs is really mad because this math problem has made it around the world.

“A recruiter has three structural engineer positions. One of them gets cancelled. How many does the recruiter have left? Any preschooler would say 2. But if you are ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps, you would say 3! When recruiters cannot figure out how to count on fingers and toes, they should not be in the business of hiring engineers.”

It also raises other issues, folks!  Would ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs and ISAT screw the Candidate again because she did it the first time?  Folks, there is no really good way to know.  It also begs the question of whether she would screw candidates with the job offer by removing conditions discussed during the interview.  This is what is called a bait-and-switch.  And she admits to deceiving candidates at will.

As painful as this situation is, it’s actually a blessing in disguise.  Because when an employer uses a bait-and-switch tactic, it means at least one of the following:

* The company is unethical.

* The management is unethical.

* The environment is chaotic.

* The company is going through a reorganization.

* The corporate culture is abusive.

* The job is different from what you were told it would be.

* The company will rescind other things it offered you, such as bonuses, benefits, or vacation time.

Hopefully, the Candidate will never experience a bait and switch, but if you do, count your blessings! You have just dodged a career bullet.  The Candidate decided to test ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs on her deception.

This Candidate wanted to give ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs a chance to confess before things went downhill for ISAT.  Now you would think Whitney Phipps would want to address the issues since lawyers would be involved?  Folks, you would be incorrect on this because Whitney Phipps is a Grade A certified moron who as an F in logic and a PhD in bitch.

 


Instead of addressing the situation, ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs told that Candidate to take a hike.  Yes, folks, Whitney Phipps employed the Nuremburg defense where she claimed it was someone else’s problem and that she was just following orders.  Yes, folks, Whitney Phipps is a prostitute for ISAT because she is willing to do anything for cash!  This makes her a whore.  And Whitney Phipps deserves to get treated badly because she says in her LinkedIn title she is hiring engineers.  But based on her actions towards Candidates, this is not true at all!  Whitney Phipps is a liar in the tradition of Joe Isuzu.

ISAT needs to change its name to I-SHIT or I-SUCK because they do not know how to recruit for engineers.  ISAT should use ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs as their permanent spokesperson like Jeffrey Toobin for Zoom!



 

Folks are out there wondering what they can do about ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs, this macrobitch with a microbrain.  We say plenty.  And we have lots of wonderful ideas.

 

Speaking of Internet connections, people are asking what they can do about this God-awful know-nothing recruiter named ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs.  We have plenty of ideas, folks.  We will list many of them so you can apply them.  Unlike that bar Cheers, it’s not necessarily a good thing when everybody knows your name!

Call ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs “Fuck You”.  Yes, folks, Whitney Phipps loves wasting people’s time applying and interviewing for jobs.  So why not treat people like crap?

  • You can boycott businesses that have worked with ISAT in the past.  Then contact the retailers and ask them not to stock the products made by their clients or these cities.
  • Refuse to do business with any client of ISAT.  Yes, folks, this is really important because banks and companies will not want to do business with someone who has no real possibility of making the money back on their construction projects.  After all, ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs has demonstrated she hires the least qualified people ever.
  • If ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs and/or her family are looking to get a lower assessed value for their home for lower property taxes, do you think it will occur if you knew Whitney Phipps is a big, fat liar?  Of course not!

 

  • Cut off the funds for Idaho State University, the university where ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs graduated from.  It is quite clear she does not know how to count numbers like years of engineering experience or number of jobs she has to fill.  This will affect property values because no one will attend a school where its graduates end up screwing over taxpayers that fund the books.  After all, if people do not have jobs, how do they pay for the schools and teachers.  Whitney Phipps never thought about that.  If Whitney Phipps had half a brain, she would still have half a brain!
  • And since ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs refuses to hire people over 40, then Whitney Phipps and her family and friends can chip into the government’s universal basic income.  This also means they can pay off the student loans of all the people they rejected.  Also, when these people file for unemployment, Whitney Phipps and her family can pay for it.
  • As many folks have asked, will this post ever be truly done?  Absolutely not!  Because people want to do something about these League of Extra-Stupid Idiots!  Since the management of ISAT has refused to reach out to the Candidate that ISAT recruiter Whitney Phipps aka Nitwit-ney Fibs screwed over, we at Structural Stupidists will take this battle to everyone related to ISAT employees.  If they lose business, so be it!  They have Whitney Phipps to thank for their problems!
