Folks, we have uncovered another structural engineering firm using a job posting to get free engineering ideas.   This firm claims to have really good engineers but do they really?   As you will find out today, that fake firm is AAI Engineering of Beaverton, Oregon.   That’s right, folks!   AAI is short for Afghan Arrogant Idiot.   Beaverton, OR, based AAI Engineering run by Hamid Afghan Arrogant Idiot. Here is how this scam happens.   Hamid Afghan, the founder of AAI Engineering, posted an ad for a Structural Engineer at his company.   So the candidate applied for it. Then Beaverton, OR, based AAI Engineering run by Hamid Afghan Arrogant Idiot contacted this person about a future Project Manager position at his firm.   Hamid discussed what this person would be tasked with doing.   The candidate felt really excited about the company and the position. Folks, we are going to expose another bad structural engineering firm.   This particular one has been established since the end of World War II and it is located in Los Angeles, CA.   Its name is Brandow & Johnston.   It is headed by James Pearson and Kim Caravalho.   If you were to invite someone for a couples dinner date, the answer would be James Pearson & Kim Caravalho – dead! They are widely known for designing one if the tallest buildings in Los Angeles, the Wilshire Grand Center.   Folks, we have another alert for you on another structural engineering firm behaving badly.   This firm is RME Structural Engineers of Torrance, CA.   The name is short for Reider Marrs Structural Engineers.   It is founded by CEO and Principal Nick Marrs.   Reider Marrs Engineers CEO Nick Marrs started this firm after working at John Labib & Associates & KPFF.   Many readers of this blog know about the stupidity of KPFF Structural Engineers.   We discussed Blake the Flake Dilsworth a few years ago on this blog.   And so far, KPFF Structural Engineers has refused to contact this candidate as they have promised in the email.
