Folks, our ghost of the day is Aaron Kvamme of Rinne & Peterson Structural Engineers.  Back in September 2016, a Candidate applied for one of the Structural Engineering positions they had advertised.  This Candidate had 20 years of experience, plenty of DSA design experience and a California Structural Engineer license.  That Candidate received an email from Aaron Kvamme requesting an interview.


So the Candidate went on this interview.  The Candidate felt it was the perfect position because it was close to his/her home.  After that interview, the Candidate wrote a thank you note to Aaron Kvamme.  And Aaron Kvamme responded with this email.


 

Can you guess what happened after that email, folks?  Absolutely nothing!  Aaron Kvamme ghosted that Candidate.  Yes, folks, Aaron Kvamme was caught lying!  It is so shocking to see Aaron Kvamme state that his firm cares about his clients.

 

Folks, how can Rinne & Peterson Structural Engineers provide focused customer service when they cannot even follow up on a job interview like they promised this Candidate?  For Aaron Kvamme, talk is cheap!  This is why the firm’s opportunities are known as Kvamme Con Jobs.  Based on this encounter, do you think you would trust this firm to do anything?  Of course not!  Ask yourselves, would you waste your time interviewing with Rinne & Peterson Structural Engineers?  Of course not!  Based on this Candidate’s encounter, it is safe to assume the firm may be going downhill really fast.

Do NOT interview with Rinne & Peterson if you do not want to be a victim of the Kvamme Con Job!

Folks, we are going to expose another bad structural engineering firm.   This particular one has been established since the end of World War II and it is located in Los Angeles, CA.   Its name is Brandow & Johnston.   It is headed by James Pearson and Kim Caravalho.   If you were to invite someone for a couples dinner date, the answer would be James Pearson & Kim Caravalho – dead! They are widely known for designing one if the tallest buildings in Los Angeles, the Wilshire Grand Center.
